EPS PhD days Get2Gether

This two-day event will take place on the 27th and 28th of May 2024, at the StayOkay Hostel in Soest. This time for our yearly edition we have prepared an exciting program with several fantastic keynote speakers in several stages of their careers, as well as a selection of workshops and social activities to meet and bond with your fellow PhDs in Plant Sciences 🙂

For those interested, there is an opportunity to share your own research in the form of an oral presentation or a poster.

Next to scientific talks, we organized interesting and fun workshops. In the registration you may give a preference of the subject of the workshop you will be enrolled in.

Some practical matters:

  • This 2-day event is organized by the EPS PhD council and includes a stay-over at the StayOkay Hostel.
  • Attendance will be checked and is strictly required to obtain the ECTs for your TSP.
  • We will arrange a bus from WUR campus to the StayOkay in Soest on Monday morning, and back on Tuesday afternoon.
  • The costs of attending the Get2Gether are covered by EPS for EPS PhD candidates with an approved TSP. Regarding cancellations, you may cancel free of charge up to 1 month before the get2gether (26th of April 2024). Within two weeks of the event, you will have to pay 75 €. Unless: You can find someone to replace you and supply us with the name and contact information of your replacement. In this case you will only be charged a € 50,- cancellation fee. We will charge a no-show fee of 150 €, unless you have a valid reason to cancel (illness or death in the family 1st or 2nd degree). In this case no fee will be charged, and your supervisor/PI must send a mail indicating the reason for cancellation.
